A Note To New Clients • Psychic Readings by Ann George

Image
After working 20 years as a professional Tarot consultant and medium, there are some questions that are always uncomfortable for me.  One of those is “Is my partner cheating on me.”  If you do indeed want hard evidence that your partner is actually having a physical, sexual affair there are still private detectives who will trail your husband, wife or lover and provide you hard evidence that yes there is cheating.  In the same way medical questions are best handled by a doctor. I am happy to look and see if you have chosen the best doctor for your needs, I am happy to find the best way for you to prepare for an operation, but it is not ethical for me to “see” medical issues and to be the final answer when it comes to your health.  If we have been working together for years and prior questions such as “Show me the best way to live a long, healthy life.” have been asked and answered, then you may have chosen to see a doctor for troubles I see that may...

The Fluid Nature of Reality • A Perspective on Tarot Readings

Image
The Fluid Nature of Reality • A Perspective on Tarot Readings Sometimes clients of psychic services, especially when they are hoping for a particular outcome, will call several weeks after their first reading for a follow-up session. Often they are hoping that the outcome they long for will be revealed this second time. However, the outcome they receive at the second session is often not what they expected to hear. This is when people say  “But last time you said ________.”,  then they state the some particular thing they remembered hearing. Often, callers feel frustrated or disappointed because the  future  they hoped for is not at hand. So often we really do want what we want. So often we believe we must have this partner, this job, this home in our lives for all to be well.  Once a reading is over every client may choose to follow the guidance revealed in a session and take the actions that Tarot & the reader affirm will bring ...

Reading the Now

Image
I am almost always asked to do readings to see the future. I also offer past life reading and mediumship work as is necessary for the emotional well being of my clients.  I am a question specific reader, and do not “throw the cards” or “read the cards” in the sense that I rely on the Tarot exclusively for seeing. Rather, the Tarot is my validator, the second opinion and witness that empowers me to rest assured that what I “see” is accurate.  My responsibility is to tell you the truthful answer to any questions you ask. In recent times, more clients are coming for an assessment of the present. Their concerns are best expressed as: “What is going on?“ “Why do I feel this way?” “Am I on the right path”  “What is my life’s purpose.” These kinds of questions, arising more and more often, confirm that we are indeed in a strange and stressful time. The world we inhabit is rapidly changing and forces both obvious and subtle are changing our lives. A ...

Why Use Tarot when Reading? • Clairvoyant Ann George

I recently received a call from a potential client. I feel sure he had not explored my website  before calling as he asked me if I could do a reading without using Tarot. I have not been asked this question for many years. Taken aback at what seemed a fear of Tarot, my reply was, "Of course, but why would I do that? Do you not want the most accurate, complete answer to your question that I am able to provide?" I offer apologies to my caller. I would have been more kind, less direct, and referred him to this article had it been online. To better answer his question, I am writing a more in-depth introduction to the benefits of consulting the Tarot  than is found on my site. As a clairvoyant person, I am able to read, or to "see," without Tarot. In fact I must be mindful to "see" only when asked, and only for the benefit of my clients. I am able to receive all kinds of information throughout the day. If I read without Tarot, I also receive all kinds of i...

How Often Should I Have a Reading?

Image
This is an excellent question, one that I am asked time and again.. and if you will indulged me, I will post an answer that hopefully addresses all aspects of when to have a reading. In general, it is best to have a reading either every three months or every six months. Why? The future is always unfolding, and each action we take generates a consequence. Each consequence impacts our future, and to have a reading that provides a glimpse of the future you are co-creating is always wise. If you are well-placed in life, comfortable with the world you have created, and your life seems orderly, then a reading every six months is probably best. You might order the 15 minute reading and ask to see the outcome of continuing your present spiritual or professional path. If the outcome revealed is to your liking... then you are on course. If you are at a place in time where you are beginning to create or recreate a future, and there are many choices, many decisions, many suitors, then you ...

Tarot Readings - Fees for Tarot Readings

Image
Oh My Goodness!  I was just browsing around to see what is going on in the world of Tarot on the web. I am often very surprised by the sites I find & the prices people are charging. Here is a very interesting site that lists many different readers available by phone and their prices per minute. I am surprised to see that some readers charge as much as $16 a minute! and they apparently have many favorable reviews. Just a quick note for those who wonder about my prices. I still charge $35 for a fifteen minute reading. This session enables the answer to one, or as many as three simple questions. (As of 2018 I charge $40 for the 15 minute reading and $70 for the half hour. ) The half hour reading is $65 and offers the opportunity to ask four to six questions. For an in depth look at all areas of your life, for complex issues, or for those who have not had a reading for many years, I offer the one hour reading for $125. Some years ago, a client suggested that I raise m...

Notes from the January Tarot Class

Image
The Tarot Salon/Workshop met as we always do, the second Sunday of the month in the lovely studio in the back of the Midnight Sun. This month students were able to ask many questions about the ethic of reading, how best to read, how to direct seekers to ask useful questions, the purpose & power of question driven readings as well as other topics that were of particular interest to those attending. One of the most interesting discussion was about revealing the full, truthful answer in a reading. One reader present was very interested in when & how to reveal what might be disturbing or unfortunate news. A lively discussion ensued, and the consensus was that a Tarot reader must share all that is revealed in the reading. Editing information to protect the seeker would be an intrusion of the ego of the reader, and therefore, an interruption of the pure flow of wisdom that occurs in the process. This conversation moved again to the topic of asking useful questions. It was decide...

Tarot Class Synopsis

Greetings to All, For those who were not able to attend the October Class, here is a quick summary of the topics covered, courtesy in part of a very gifted student! The focus of the class was the "Landscape Method" of interpreting a spread of Tarot cards, rather than trying to decode each card on it's own & then put it in context with the rest of the Tarots on the table. To do this, I first presented the Minor Arcana by element & discussed the nature of the elements as fields of activity. Then the Minor Arcana were broken into primary groups for interpretation. These groups were the Aces, Tarots numbered 2 through 10, and the Court Cards. We began to discuss the Minor Arcana and their relationship to signs & planets.. or the sphere of the Zodiac if you prefer. As class was nearing an end, we looked at the Major Arcana just a bit to give an overview of the primary meaning of each card. This was an intense and fast paced class! Second Sunday in November, I will ...

Tarot in Troubled Times

Image
I am reprinting an excerpt from an article on my site about the benefits of Tarot readings. I find that sometimes people who really want a reading may feel a bit uncomfortable about scheduling a consultation. It may seem new, unusual, or a bit frightening to consult a psychic or clairvoyant reader for the first time. Many people do not know what to expect when they order a reading. I encourage all to check references, ask friends for suggestions about ethical consultants, and to be sure that the fees charged seem reasonable. It is my experience that a Tarot reading is particularly helpful for people looking for direction and validation during troubled times. I hope you find this excerpt helpful. The entire article may be viewed by clicking the title of this post: "Since the dawn of time, people have sought the advice of an oracle. The desire for clarity and insight, the need to make sense of the turmoil of everyday life and find peace with our place in the world is healthy. The w...

The Sacred Trust - Ethics of a Professional Tarot Consultant

Image
Recently, I had a curious friend ask me a question about a my reading process, and in particular about the kinds of things that occur in a reading. I realized that it may be time again to post more information about my values as a reader so that others can know my thoughts on the Sacred Trust. Those words may sound dramatic, or self important, which is not at all my intention. Rather, the words "Sacred Trust" reflect my deep sense of gratitude to the oracle of Tarot, my respect for the seekers, and an abiding commitment to keep the confidences entrusted to me by my clients. I mention my gratitude to Tarot as it is this mystic device, this ancient book of mirrors that made it possible for me to gain mastery over my clairvoyant "gift", which I assure you, when running wild is no gift at all. Unbridled clairvoyance in my experience was a kaleidoscope of information that served no one. It is the Tarot that made it possible to serve the public. For me, the Tarot is the p...

Past Lives are often revealed in a Tarot Reading.

Recently, several clients have had past lives revealed during their Tarot readings. The questions they asked were not about past lives at all, but about critical present life relationship experiences. This seemingly unexpected revelation is not at all unusual. In fact, many times when people are having powerful relationships with each other, when their lives intertwine at critical moments, when their bond seems to transcend the expected, or the "rational", they are experiencing what I describe as a "past life return." It seems that some of us somehow choose to be born again and again with each other. This phenomenon is easily seen in the case of enlightened masters of established spiritual traditions where past lives and reincarnation is a natural part of their spiritual world view. Teachers and students of these traditions form a connect by agreement based on devotion that enables them to incarnate in this world in proximity to each other for the benefit of all ki...
