Many people are quite used to seeing the “card by card” reading in which the consultant reads each card as it is turned, telling the client the meaning of that card as pertains to that client, or the clients question.  I do not offer card by card sessions. From time to time new clients, in particular those who have not read my site or blogs, often expect a “card by card” reading. This style is popular, very easy to do, and may not require any psychic ability at all.  There are many fine “entertainment readers” who book out for parties and corporate events that offer this style of reading. I do not.  I am a clairvoyant person, there is nothing to be done about that. I am able to see and know all kinds of things about the world around me.  I have always seen spirits, felt the presence of many kinds of spiritual beings, energies, sacred spaces, power spots and all manner of paranormal events.  When I use cards in a reading, I use them in three ways.  First, the Tarot is my key to the Akashic record. From time to time in a session clients will ask "What does that card mean?". It is good question, but impossible to answer during the reading process.  I bring three decks to every reading. You may choose the deck you prefer. I bring the "Thoth", "the Hermetic Tarot" and the "Archeaon Tarot" decks. They call contain 78 cards, and all the cards have the same interpretations - so your choice of deck does not affect your answer in any way. It is my hope that by choosing a deck you prefer, one that feels good to you, or is pretty to you, you will begin to be more comfortable during the session.  All decks are correct in that there are two male and two female court cards. Often after a reading (by phone or in person) clients will share that they feel much better, relieved or at ease because they have the answers to the questions that were troubling them.   I am always happy to hear that my clients feel better. It is a great pleasure and I do enjoy sessions where all the answers are the ones hoped for, and all loved ones are well and happy. This is a very good question. I am sure every professional reader will offer a different answer. I was born clairvoyant. I understand that to mean that I was born with the ability to see and know things before they happen, to hear peoples thoughts, to sense the presence of spirits and unseen forces in the worlds. I also offer past life reading and mediumship work as is necessary for the emotional well being of my clients.  I am a question specific reader, and do not “throw the cards” or “read the cards” in the sense that I rely on the Tarot exclusively for seeing. I was doing a search to see what was new on the web, and I found a very helpful article published some five years ago. The article could have been excerpted from my site as much of what was published mirrors my values - almost verbatim. However, I am always saddened by the kind of exclusive statement found in the article which read: "A true psychic does not have to use cards to read you, but will connect with, and read your energy vibrations, and a true medium will connect with energy vibrations of spirit." Recently I had the pleasure of meeting a new client. I was not able to provide a reading for her, and we parted on good terms. She was a customer of another style of reader and was used to receiving a different kind of reading than the ones I offer. I am publishing to share again my understanding of the right use of clairvoyance and the worldview from which I read. I realize that many cultures have different understandings of how the future unfolds.  I am able to "see the future" in general.
