What does that Tarot card mean? A deeper look at readings.

Image
Some readers use a traditional 10 card spread, often called the Celtic Cross.    In a 10 card spread the reader will often turn and place the card on the table.  Many readers will tell you what that card means before revealing another.  When the next card is turned, the reader will then tell you the meaning of that card, in the new positon as it applies to your question. The Reading unfolds card by card until all ten are put down to reveal your answer.  I do not do card by card readings, but use a “landscape spread” of 16 cards.  As I was born clairvoyant, the Tarot is my key to the Akashic Records.  As well I find it is a vibrant tapestry, rather like a table cloth we lay down to  present your answer.  I use the Tarot as another set of eyes that often  clarifies  and  also  validates my seeing.  When we really look closely at the Tarot, an ancient book of wisdom, we find treasury of hidden knowledge ...

Are You Afraid to Have a Psychic Reading? Learn more about this useful service.

On my Walk-In days at the store where I have a small office in Jacksonville, Florida I have a chance to meet people who have never had a reading.  Most new comers have no real idea about the kinds of services a professional psychic offers.  The other day I heard a shopper who had a friend considering a reading say: “Oh, don’t go see her!! She might tell you something you don’t want to hear!” I would like to start my post by sharing some important points about the services I offer. I am always happy to talk with people about the benefits of consulting a psychic.   To begin -  I am not a fortune teller.  You are not going to enter a dark, incense filled room with lots of occult decorations. I am not going to give you a “cold reading” where I gaze off into the distance and tell you that I can see that you are “weary.”  I am not going to see that “you work hard, yet can’t seem to hold onto your money”. I am not going to tell you...

Are You Nervous? Your Tarot Reading Is All About You.

Image
Some clients are nervous when they sit for their first reading, just as many people are nervous or uncomfortable in any new situation where they are allowing themselves to be vulnerable to a new experience.  Some clients have a fear of Tarot  in particular. They have been told  that  it is wrong, or dangerous to consult a reader. Some people have been shamed for seeking psychic insights.      This kind of treatment could cause anyone to be nervous when coming for a reading!  If you are my client, whether in person or by telephone appointment, I am present to provide you a service. My responsibility is to answer your questions. My responsibility is to tell you the truthful answer.  I will not surprise you with answers to unasked questions. I don’t “see the future” in general. The future is always changing and readings help you make the best changes possible.  I do not make predictions. I don’t give advic...

Tarot: The Why of Live Readings by Clairvoyant Ann George - Professional Tarot Consultant.

Image
As I have been fortunate to have worked as what I am or who I am, for over twenty years now. As time has passed, many of my local clients moved away but still wanted to be able to have readings with me. It is through their encouragement and support that I began reading by phone in 2000. Over the years I have found that telephone readings offer us many advantages. I know now that they are as accurate as live readings, as well they save us precious time. Voice to voice and mind to mind we open the Akashic Record to see the future.  The blessing of live reading time is that we are still voice to voice and mind to mind, but because we are physically present with one another we can share the experience of the special vortex that is created when we come together with the agreement that we will see the future, more specifically, the outcome of your choices.  As well many people enjoy seeing the Tarot cars that manifest during their sessions. Some take photos of the spre...

Why Use Tarot when Reading? • Clairvoyant Ann George

I recently received a call from a potential client. I feel sure he had not explored my website  before calling as he asked me if I could do a reading without using Tarot. I have not been asked this question for many years. Taken aback at what seemed a fear of Tarot, my reply was, "Of course, but why would I do that? Do you not want the most accurate, complete answer to your question that I am able to provide?" I offer apologies to my caller. I would have been more kind, less direct, and referred him to this article had it been online. To better answer his question, I am writing a more in-depth introduction to the benefits of consulting the Tarot  than is found on my site. As a clairvoyant person, I am able to read, or to "see," without Tarot. In fact I must be mindful to "see" only when asked, and only for the benefit of my clients. I am able to receive all kinds of information throughout the day. If I read without Tarot, I also receive all kinds of i...

What happens in a Tarot Card Reading?

Sometimes people are very nervous when they come for their first reading, in part because they really do not know what to expect. While each reader is different, and each reading is different, if you have an ethical consultant, then there are several truths that should apply to each and every session. The first truth is that you are in control. The Tarot is a vibrational tool, a picture book of archetypes and truths about the experiences we all face as spiritual beings in a material world. Although we are unique, life does present us all the same ultimate challenges. We all face birth, death, illness, victory, success, loss, love - of course the list of what we share can go on and on. What is important is that  each of us will react (vibrate) to these experiences in our own unique way. There will also be times when we feel lost, adrift, in need of guidance, clarity, insight and direction. It is in these times that Tarot is a most perfect tool to help you find your way toward...

Psychic Reading Styles - Passive vs. Active Thought

I recently read for a woman who had frequented other styles of readers in the past. She reported to me that when she went to them, she sat down, and they "read" her.  I am sure this is true. There are spiritualists, psychics and mediums who work from another frame of reference than I do, and are able to "see" the energies around a person at a particular time and offer advice and validation just upon seeing a person. There are always those who promise to "solve all problems", "reunite loved ones" and "heal all illness." I am not that kind of service provider either. I am a question specific reader. I have respect for my clients innate wisdom, and their intuition. Providing accurate answers to direct questions that are troublesome gets straight to the heart of the matter. If you would like to see the future outcome of a decision you are going to make, I can help you. If you would like to see the outcome of continuing your current...

"The Truth About Psychic Readings"

I was looking around the web today. I wanted to see what kinds of articles were out about psychic readings, readings for sale and the current price for psychic readings in general. In so doing, I came across a very good article in a blog from GeorgeMinisteri.com. Please know... I have not explored the site at all, just the post, and I found it very well written and useful, so I include it here.  "The Truth About Psychic Readings"  I hope you find it helpful. I have published several articles on my site designed to help people have the best possible psychic readings. A few of my articles are: Ethical Psychic Readings What Happens in a Reading  (Tarot reading in particular) and the most important article, Ask Useful Questions The importance of the questions cannot be emphasized enough. The question opens the door to the answer, and creates the best ground to see the outcome of situations. Sometimes, when reading forward into situations where there a...

Ethical Tarot Readings - A response to visitor mail by Ann George

Here is a letter a received from a visitor to my site. As this letter is not at all unusual, I thought it best to answer on the Blog and hope it will be of benefit to others. " Dear Ms. George,   My name is _________ and I'm ___ years old from Any City, USA. I have had many "psychic readings" over the years and spent hundreds of dollars on false prophecies. I am a true believer that there are some gifted individuals out there who can tap into their "3rd eye" and use their special gift to help people. Unfortunately, I have been duped so many times over.   I have had it pretty rough over the past 5 years or so and truly need some spiritual guidance and maybe even some reassurance that everything will be OK.   Somehow, I was led to your site and take everything as a sign. I would absolutely love to schedule a reading session with you but am so skeptical.   Is there any possible way that you may be able to show me that you are indeed the real deal to cal...

Notes from the January Tarot Class

Image
The Tarot Salon/Workshop met as we always do, the second Sunday of the month in the lovely studio in the back of the Midnight Sun. This month students were able to ask many questions about the ethic of reading, how best to read, how to direct seekers to ask useful questions, the purpose & power of question driven readings as well as other topics that were of particular interest to those attending. One of the most interesting discussion was about revealing the full, truthful answer in a reading. One reader present was very interested in when & how to reveal what might be disturbing or unfortunate news. A lively discussion ensued, and the consensus was that a Tarot reader must share all that is revealed in the reading. Editing information to protect the seeker would be an intrusion of the ego of the reader, and therefore, an interruption of the pure flow of wisdom that occurs in the process. This conversation moved again to the topic of asking useful questions. It was decide...

Your First Tarot Reading - How to Prepare

I had a call from a new client who wanted to schedule their first Tarot reading. If you are in Jacksonville, Florida and would like to come for your first Tarot reading, I am very happy to schedule a session for you. Here are a few tips to help you prepare: First - It is good to know What Happens In a Reading . Second - It is helpful to ask questions that will give you the direction you need. Third - I think it is very useful to know something about the values of your Tarot consultant. Finally - Testimonials from reliable sources (friends you trust, other clients of that reader, or the online testimonials for the psychic.) A few of the other posts in this blog are written to help you have the most useful Tarot reading possible. Of course, some people just walk right in, take the plunge, have a reading and are very happy with the outcome. One purpose of consulting the Tarot is to gain clarity, insight, direction. If you are able to spend a few moments preparing your questions, it wi...
