I realized I have been living in my own little bubble of assumption and have fallen out of touch with how best to present myself to new clients. I often write articles to help people understand the metaphysics of seeing the future. My motive is to help new clients feel comfortable when they come for a psychic reading with Tarot.  I will always prefer the word “clairvoyant’ to describe the services I offer. It seems a cleaner description, to be “clear seeing.”  Lately I have been helping first clients come to a greater peace for their session by explaining an aspect of “how” we get to the Akashic Record to find the answers to their questions. From time to time new clients, in particular those who have not read my site or blogs, often expect a “card by card” reading. This style is popular, very easy to do, and may not require any psychic ability at all.  There are many fine “entertainment readers” who book out for parties and corporate events that offer this style of reading. From time to time new clients sit down for a reading and admit that they are rather anxious, and some admit they are a little bit afraid. I always present two reassuring and truthful statements as there is little time to give a detailed explanation once the session is booked.  The first important idea is that I am not going to answer any questions you don’t ask.
