Psychic Scamming Continues in Jacksonville, Florida.
As a professional clairvoyant consultant here in Jacksonville, Florida, I am very sad to report that I have had one call and one e-mail in the past week that I find very discouraging, but not surprising, and not unusual.
Please note that I am Ann George, I always use both names professionally, and have been in service to the public since 1996. I have published extensively on my website, blogs, and have podcasts available at no charge to help people have a better understanding of the mystic and metaphysical importances and benefits of consulting a "seer" as we were once called.
I do not endorse any abusive practices, I do not charge for anything more that the time you spend with me, and have really tried to encourage people to understand that a good reading is a co-created experience. Both the seeker and the reader need to work together to find the answers to questions.
Here is an excerpt from the e-mail, which I have modified to for the privacy of the sender:
"Me and my mom recently went to a psychic in Jacksonville but she just kept telling us things, she wouldn't explain them fully and said we needed many more sessions and demanded money. We want separate sessions with you, but I haven't yet paid as in your website said not to pay first. If you would please email me back, we would like to set up an appointment with you. You can call all I ask is you please call.."
The other message I received was from a young woman, suffering the loss of a boyfriend, who told she had been to a psychic who promised that she - the psychic - would be able to reunite the lovers, however the young woman would have to purchase very expensive candles ( $200 each ) as well as pay additional monies for the psychic to "do work" to bring the couple together again.
The right use of the gift of seeing or psychism, or clairvoyance, is to help people create the best possible future, to empower clients to find their own best path to happiness, to give honest accurate answers to questions.
In my opinion, the wrong use is to frighten, manipulate, make false promises, take advantage of broken hearts or to see "bad luck" or "curses" in the customers aura, and then make great claims about the readers ability to "solve all problems." The wrong use is to charge outlandish fees ( I have seen some phone readers charge as much as $16 a minute), encourage dependence, and then leave the client in no better shape on any level than at first contact.
Yes, there is magic in the world, and miracles. There are great healers, and sorcerers, and priests of secret societies capable of fantastic accomplishments. I do not doubt this for a moment. However, I do not believe the right use of spiritual power of any kind is to force someone to do the bidding of another.
If your lover is gone, and you want that lover back, you may have to make some changes in yourself, your lifestyle, your attitude. You may have to allow some time to pass before the healing can occur in your relationship. You may have to accept that your relationship is over.
It is not energetically ethical to hire someone to "make" that person change their mind and love you again. Think about it, even it the person you are consulting could in fact to this, control the mind and heart of another person, turn them against themselves to favor you, so that you get your way.......... isn't this just a form of rape?
The other hook in this process is that should the lover stray, the psychic will tell you that you must have done something wrong...... you need more readings..... more candles....... you must spend more money!!!
I have spoken to people who have spent over $10,000 over a period of years in just such a scheme. These are not ignorant people, but they are feeling desperate and alone. They do need help, support, love, advice and counsel, and so the predatory "psychic" makes that easy money.
A good aura cleanse, chakra balance, energy healing should cost no more that a visit to the doctor, massage therapist or counselor. All these forms of healing are valid, respected, out in the open and above board. No extravagant claims are made about miraculous outcomes. The healer just does the work, and the client moves on to the next phase of life.
Check prices. Most ethical readers charge less that cut and color at the salon, and are probably worth far more. So, heads up Jacksonville. If you don't see letters of reference, a photo of the reader you are to consult, if the psychic pressures you in any way for more sessions or more money, I think it best to pay for whatever service you have received and head for the door.
With best wishes that all find happiness.
